My firsthand account
My name is Arina Igumenshcheva. I worked as a senior data scientist in the Advancement department at the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) from January 2024 to December 2025.
This is my firsthand account of the unethical conduct by WMF leadership & management that I have witnessed directly. It is based on the HR complaint I was writing during my last months at WMF, which I didn’t get a chance to file before I got fired.
